soooooooooooooo. heres the deal. if youll take a looksee back a few posts ago, i believe i mentioned that he was coming home for a few days. and then i made the statement "maybe ill get to see him but i wont get my hopes up" or something like that. welllllllllllllll. he came home. and he texted me. and asked me to hang out with him! true story. and today, we hung out. and it. was. awesome. actually, to everybody else, this story will be boring because i am about to recount, in excruciating detail, the chill hang-outage that occurred today that was really no big deal, but to me, was a huge deal. so here it goes. we went to Gus's for ice cream. at 4:30. and i got very mad at him because he was late. and he texted me and promised he was on his way and would be there very soon. i was quite peeved because he was like 15 minutes late. but then he told me he kinda bumped into the back of a womans car and had to get that all straightened out so then i was way less mad. so we got our ice cream and it was all raining and stuff outside. and there are only outside benches to sit on there. and he was like "well its not raining that bad. we can sit out here." like he honestly believed i was about to sit out in the rain. ha. i was like "hmm. its raining. so if you like to eat ice cream in the rain, by all means sit out here. i however am gonna sit in my car. you can join me if youd like." so maybe i just wanted to get cozy in the car with him... thats not a crime. anyways, we ended up just sitting in my car, eating our ice cream and talking. we talked about everything, my job, the creeper bag boy at work, his new job offer, his roommates obnoxious girlfriend, life in marion, his lakehouse, and all that business. it was really cool, just sitting there talking to him. i liked hanging out with him. then, sadly, i had to go to work. i said we should hang out again if he wanted to. i was trying to be all cool about it, like "so.. if you wanted to, ya know hang out again or something, just text me. ill be around. whatev" or something like that. and i flailed my arm onto the roof of my car... right into a big puddle on the roof of my car and splashed myself with water. he laughed at me. meanie. so maybe he will text me again. he leaves thurday sometime. who know? but even if he doesnt, today was good enough for me <3
